Whether it be as one of the legs of the European Rally Championship (ERC) or of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), the Belgium Ypres Westhoek Rally is known for its very typical atmosphere. This is definitely the case in the rally centre, located on the historical market place of Ypres, with its Hall of Cats. Along the stages, some of the old feeling might have been lost due to the more stringent safety measures.

Betti has, after a year with Honda together with Dani Sola, has made the decision to change from team. He will be competing in the IRC at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO9 GR.N from the Italian Meca Motorsport.
