Loix : I am not going flat-out anymore

Kopecky : Stil seems satisfied, despite losing 1s on Loix. He clearly is thinking about the championship

Neuville wants to bring his car home safely an is now focussing on finishing

Loix : we still have few tricky stages to go. I try to not push too hard.

Kopecky : this stage was ok

Neuville : we hit something in the last corner. We will change the wheel and it will be fine

Débarrassé de son seul réel adversaire, avec lequel ils se battaient depuis le premiers mètres, Freddy Loix (Škoda Fabia S2000) se doit désormais de gérer son avance. Principale difficulté dans pareil cas : rester concentré. Pas si évident que cela, mais « Fast Freddy » s'y applique et lève sensiblement le pied pour laisser les scratches de cette boucle à son équipier Jan Kopecký. Le recordman au nombre de victoires à Ypres avoue néanmoins avoir rencontré un petit souci de freins sur Heuvelland. A suivre...

De son côté, isolé au 3e rang, Thierry Neuville a l'honneur de Peugeot entre ses mains. Seul commentaire au terme de cette série de spéciales, un petit tête-à-queue qui lui a fait perdre quelques secondes dans l'ES10. Ce qui ne l'a pas empêché de signer le 3e temps. Sur le court tronçon d'Eurometropole (1.66 km/ ES13), il s'est même encore un peu approché du scratch, en pointant à 0"2 de Kopecký.

Loix : arrives at the finish after having overtaken a motorbike on the stage, Freddy was furious

Kopecky still loses 4 seconds on loix : "unfortunately, i went into a field, i really do like this stage however

SS 15 : it turns out the motorbike was sent onto the stage after the O car went through to check the stage again. Freddy cought up with him unfortunately few hundred meters of the finish

Loix : the roads are very dirty, especialy now the historics went through but he feels good at the moment. His brake problems were solved.

Kopecky : We changed the set-up of the car slightly and i'm happy with the improvement

Neuville : it was difficult, much more gravel on the road
